Part-Time | Occupational Therapist Assistant

Schedule:

30-32 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Available Shifts:

Day Shift

Pay Rate: $26.63 - $36.14

The Difference You’ll Make

1. Provides professional occupational therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment.
2. Assignments may include working with skilled nursing facility patients, senior housing tenants, outpatients or home care patients either at a Saint Therese location or under contract with other locations.

Qualifications Required:

Education Required :

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program. Licensed in Minnesota.

Experience Required:

A minimum of one year experience as an occupational therapist assistant

Experience Preferred:

1. Experience working with seniors desired
2. Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
3. High level of commitment to compassionate customer service­­
4. Maintained awareness and sensitivity to client needs, interests and abilities

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

1. Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
2. Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
3. Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision as a float staff
4. Proven history of good judgment, integrity and consideration to others
5. High level of commitment to compassionate customer service­­
6. Ability to meet physical demands of the position including ability to turn, lift, and carry
