VP of Finance

:

JOB SUMMARY: Directs and/or performs the treasury functions, accounting practices, maintenance of its fiscal records, timely preparations of financial and management reports, general accounting, cost accounting, cash flows analyses, and budgeting. Directs accounting staff in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO and the Board of Directors.

DEPARTMENT: Accounting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepares monthly financial statements to present to the Finance Committee.

· Prepares other reports for Finance Committee.

· Prepares annual Budget

· Supervises Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.

· Assists auditors with developing support documentation for various general ledger accounts.

· Presents audit report to Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

· Reviews tax returns for accuracy (Form 990, Form 990T, Form 1120 and Form 5500).

· Maintains communication with Investment Firm.

· Oversees annual dues billing.

· Oversees quarterly fees billing.

· Review monthly Sales Tax Reports for accuracy.

· Performs HR functions and maintains employee records.

· Manage payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Organizes Open Enrollment annual meeting via 3rd Party Broker.

· Updates wage/salary ranges to ensure market compatibility.

· Prepares annual worker's compensation audit.

· Prepares 401k quarterly contribution match to the retirement company.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Ten years or more of related experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
