Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Steel Fabricator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metal fabrication, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing high-quality structural and custom steel products. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Measure, cut, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and fabrication equipment.

• Perform MIG welding as required.

• Operate fabrication tools including grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and plasma cutters.

• Ensure accuracy of dimensions and structural integrity of finished products.

• Conduct quality checks before, during, and after fabrication.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all OSHA and company safety standards.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling as needed.

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of steel fabrication or welding experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Proficient with hand tools and fabrication machinery.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structural steel, custom fabrication, or heavy equipment components.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment.

• Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.

• Exposure to heat, sparks, and loud environments (PPE provided).
