Paralegal - Dallas

Paralegal needed for regional Dallas office of Texas based firm
Iideal candidate will have 5-10 years of paralegal experience and a strong background in drafting pleadings, motions, and court filings. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while providing exceptional support to our attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring information is easily accessible.
Docket and schedule events, keeping the legal calendar up to date.
Assist clients in completing legal forms accurately and efficiently.
Draft demand letters, motions, and other correspondence for attorney review.
Conduct thorough legal research on new and emerging issues; verify case law and review relevant legislation.
Prepare discovery documents and responses, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Meet with clients to discuss discovery responses and gather necessary information.
Communicate updates to clients and provide timely information during the case process.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials, contributing to trial strategies.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of paralegal experience, with a strong understanding of the legal process.
Proficiency in using IManage, Coyote, and TimeKeep for at least 2 years, with a minimum of 150 billable hours per month.
Ability to draft accurate legal documents with minimal supervision.
Prior experience supporting trial preparation and understanding trial procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Initiative and a willingness to complete administrative tasks as needed.
