The Team
This role sits within the Finance Division, dedicated to strategic financial leadership and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, Americas, you will collaborate with divisional leaders and corporate stakeholders to uphold financial integrity, compliance, and long‑term growth.
Your Role
As an Accountant within Corporate Accounting for the Americas region, you will support accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Rosewood policies. Key responsibilities include payroll journal preparation, asset schedule maintenance, audit support, and a strong emphasis on regional tax activities, accruals, and expense review.
How You’ll Make the Place
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of accounting journals, including regional payroll entries.
- Complete and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and other assigned tasks.
- Assist with routine tax filings across all jurisdictions in the Americas.
- Review expense reports for policy compliance and maintain associate profiles in the reimbursement system.
- Review and approve purchase orders in alignment with approved budgets.
- Maintain an accurate vendor/supplier database and ensure proper tax documentation (e.g., W‑9s).
- Support annual group audit requests.
- Maintain organized and systematic filing of all accounting records.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Finance department as needed.
- Adhere to corporate uniform and grooming standards.
- Foster a positive, engaged, and collaborative work environment.

Could This Be You?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
- 5 years of accounting experience; multinational experience is an advantage.
- Tax filing experience preferred.
- Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Suite, BirchStreet, ADP Workforce Now, and SAP Concur is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and identify trends in financial data.
- Knowledge of relevant hospitality laws and regulations, particularly within the U.S. and California.
