Pay: $17.75 per hour

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm

Job responsibilities: You'll be responsible for service order dispatch and coordinating library activities.

Essential functions:

• Plan and organize library program for detainees.

• Review requests and select books and other library materials according to mental state, educational background, and special needs of detainees.

• Enter work requests and preventative maintenance information into maintenance management systems.

• Receive, record, and distribute work orders to maintenance staff.

• Schedule vendors as directed by supervisor to perform work outside the scope of facility staff.

• Maintain perpetual inventory control on materials and supplies in appropriate tracking system.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months of library, clerical, administrative or related experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
