Legal Billing Coordinator

A respected Houston law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to manage the full-cycle legal billing process. This role works closely with attorneys and the accounting team to ensure accurate, timely billing and compliance with client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and process prebills and invoices
- Edit billing narratives and implement attorney billing revisions
- Manage trust accounting, retainers, and unallocated cash reconciliations
- Maintain client and matter billing information
- Prepare and submit LEDES invoices through e-billing platforms
- Monitor UTBMS coding compliance and resolve billing submission issues
- Collaborate with attorneys and finance personnel to meet billing deadlines
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of legal billing systems, LEDES formats, and UTBMS coding
- Experience with e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Tymetrix, CounselGo, Brightflag, or BillingPoint
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
