Crane Operator- Industrial

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team at our Baytown, TX PIPE YARD facility. As a Crane Operator in an industrial setting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate various types of cranes, including overhead, mobile, and tower cranes, to lift, move, and position loads.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including load weights and equipment usage.
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of crane equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in crane operation preferred.
- Proven experience as a crane operator in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of crane operations, safety standards, and load handling techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and load charts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy machinery.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
