We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting processes such as month-end closings, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. You will also collaborate closely with senior management to ensure accuracy and efficiency across financial operations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies on a monthly basis.
• Manage and maintain the fixed asset module, ensuring proper recording and classification.
• Analyze and resolve balance sheet items, including driver clearing accounts, reserves, and escrow schedules.
• Generate detailed reports and conduct financial research to support decision-making.
• Ensure proper control and classification of financial transactions through full-cycle accounting.
• Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for external audits.
• Identify and escalate financial issues to management as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the accounting department.• Strong organizational skills paired with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads effectively under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, along with advanced computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting systems is preferred.
• Solid understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.
