As a Month End Closing Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial processes and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and conduct reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Manage general ledger accounts and monitor accruals, variances, and discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory counts, addressing and reconciling any discrepancies effectively.
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions by processing vendor payments and resolving payment issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger maintenance and financial reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP, TMT, and TMW is advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze data efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
