Account Executive - Home Health Sales/Healthcare Liaison
About Us We are a home health agency who provides home healthcare services, helping patients and families receive the highest quality care. We are seeking a motivated Account Executive (Healthcare Sales / Home Health Liaison) to join our Business Development team. Position Overview The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, physician offices, post-acute care providers, and community partners. This role focuses on generating new patient referrals while serving as a trusted healthcare liaison to referral sources. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with physicians, discharge planners, case managers, hospitals, senior living facilities, and other referral sources.
- Identify and engage new accounts in the territory to increase home health patient referrals.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and our agency, ensuring smooth referral processes.
- Present and educate referral sources on our home health services through in-person visits, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Create and execute strategic marketing and business development plans to meet referral growth targets.
- Collaborate with internal clinical and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate referrals.
- Track and maintain referral source contacts and activities in HubSpot CRM daily.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health sales, healthcare marketing, or physician liaison role (preferred).
- Proven track record of generating patient referrals and meeting sales goals.
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.
- Prior outside sales or healthcare liaison experience highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional appearance, excellent communication, and organizational skills required.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage a healthcare sales territory.
