Idealease with Southwest International Trucks is hiring a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Fleet Technician in Dallas, Texas. The Mobile Maintenance Fleet Technician will have a full-time schedule, with access to full benefits and company incentives.

The Mobile Fleet Maintenance Technician position will diagnose problems and perform identified repairs and routine preventive maintenance services on different types of vehicles under limited supervision through the use of their mobile service truck and tools. The mobile service truck, tools, and inventory must be maintained and kept in serviceable condition at all times as per company policy and procedures.

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance work as required.
• Manage inventory control on the mobile truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and will be assigned duties on a daily basis
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and be available for an open work schedule.
• Read job order and observes and listens to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.
• Document and submit necessary paperwork or enter into mobile service program as work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding the work. Foster positive customer relations.
• Utilize various diagnostic equipment to determine malfunction and utilize available technical information to determine and perform correct repair procedure.
• Advise customer and/or service writer of any repairs or services which should be performed.
• Participate in training and utilize that training in the course of work.

Mobile Maintenance Fleet Technician Requirements:

Individuals will be expected to independently diagnosis, repair and/or replace major components.

• Must be 18 years of age
• 3 years hands- on diesel mechanic experience
• Must be able to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts
• Computer Skills & Data Entry (Diagnostics Experience Preferred)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
• Possess own tools and tool box

Mobile PM Tech Schedule: Monday thru Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
