Position Summary:

This multi-functional role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility, performing local deliveries and pickups, and supporting general maintenance tasks within the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Janitorial Duties:

• Maintain breakrooms and office areas as needed
• Sweep, mop, and dust warehouse and common spaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility
• Refill soap, paper, and cleaning supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways, windows, and floors
• Report and respond to spills, hazards, or unsafe conditions promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Driving Duties:

• Operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups as scheduled
• Safely transport goods to and from local machine shops, branches or customer sites
• Ensure proper handling and secure loading/unloading of materials
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow all traffic laws
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Warehouse Maintenance Duties:

• Perform basic repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, patching walls, fixing shelves)
• Support equipment upkeep and minor troubleshooting
• Identify and report facility issues needing attention
• Support seasonal or scheduled facility upgrades and deep cleaning tasks
• Cut shred each morning for the warehouse team members
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance, or warehouse support roles preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and light repair work
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Safety-conscious and comfortable working in a warehouse setting
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor work in warehouse, office, and driving conditions
• May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical labor
• Exposure to dust, noise, and warehouse equipment
• Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual labor
