Endodontic Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures including root canals, retreatments, and apicoectomies
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures
- Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- Assist with patient management, including explaining post-operative instructions
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Prepare and break down operatories between patients efficiently
- Document treatment notes and maintain accurate patient records
- Support patient comfort and manage anxiety during procedures
- Prepare and manage endodontic instruments, including rotary files
- Provide patient anxiety management and chairside support
Qualifications
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $16 - $26 per hour
