Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients in the commercial and industrial. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our metal building systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and prospect new clients within the commercial and industrial sectors, focusing on potential buyers of pre-engineered metal building systems
  • Client Consultations: Meet with prospective clients to understand their project needs, offer tailored metal building solutions, and provide technical expertise to ensure optimal design and functionality.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Allied’s PEMB systems, including design options, engineering specifications, and customization features.
  • Quote Preparation & Pricing: Prepare accurate, competitive pricing quotes and proposals for customers based on their project specifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and close sales contracts, maintaining clear communication throughout the process to secure favorable terms for both the company and client.
  • Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and engineers to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless project execution from sale to delivery, keeping clients informed throughout the process.
  • Customer Support: Provide post-sale support to customers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the construction or installation phase.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, in the pre-engineered metal building or structural steel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems and construction processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience working with architectural, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Technical background in metal building systems and/or structural steel
  • Proficiency in Excel Proficiency, MBS, autocad and bluebeam a plus
