Part Time Employment Verification Specialist
:
This is a part time position working 29 hours per week between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm. Supports the Human Resources Recruitment team and conducts background checks and employment verifications . Provides excellent customer service to University Health applicants, new hires, employees, and management. This is a non-benefited position.
Duties Include:
- Conducts Employment Verifications by phone and by utilizing third party verification systems.
- Requests background check reports.
- Assists in processing of new hires.
- Assists with other clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A High School Diploma, its equivalent, or higher is required.
One or more years of experience in the Human Resources or Administrative field or a demonstrated knowledge base of HR functions and operations is required.
Must have a demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and take professional accountability for areas of responsibility.
Attention to detail is key.
