Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for drivers across multiple distribution zones, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Utilize routing and mapping software to analyze delivery points, traffic patterns, and customer time windows.

- Make real-time adjustments to routes to address customer changes and delivery issues.

- Communicate effectively with the Distributor Operations team to ensure clear route instructions.

- Monitor and report on route performance, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to strategic improvements.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in route planning, logistics coordination, or last-mile delivery operations, preferably in a B2B distribution setting.

- Proficiency with routing software (e.g., Descartes/WinRoute, Roadnet, Omnitracs) and strong analytical skills with Microsoft Excel.

- Strong understanding of last-mile delivery challenges, traffic considerations, and local geography.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with solid organizational and time-management abilities.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hours-of-service rules.

- Experience with route planning/solution software is a plus.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with Distributor Operations teams to adjust logistics and enhance customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
