O ur client, a global AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking a talented and driven Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized Accounting Defense practice . This is a compelling opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners representing premier global accounting firms , public company issuers , and directors and officers in some of the most complex and high-stakes matters nationwide.
The role offers hands-on involvement in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement proceedings , with a particular emphasis on matters before the SEC, PCAOB, and DOJ . These cases span global markets and involve sophisticated counterparties, including federal regulators, bankruptcy trustees, shareholders, and noteholders , requiring exceptional legal judgment, strategic insight, and advocacy skills.
The practice is consistently recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 as a leader in this space, reflecting the caliber of its work and the strength of its attorneys.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record .
- Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction , in good standing.
- 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience.
- Hands-on experience in complex litigation, arbitration, or regulatory enforcement matters
- Exposure to matters involving accounting firms, public companies, or financial institutions is a plus
- Elite or large law firm experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex matters, balance competing priorities, and work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement proceedings
- Assist in matters before the SEC, PCAOB, DOJ , and other regulatory bodies
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and client memoranda
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and factual analysis in support of complex disputes
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategy and litigation positioning
- Interact with opposing counsel, experts, regulators, and other stakeholders as matters progress

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $260,000+ , commensurate with experience and class year.
