Hospital Medicine Physician - Lufkin, TX

Position overview:

We are seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician to join our close-knit team at Lufkin, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a diverse team of nine physicians, fostering camaraderie and a supportive culture.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents from the affiliated Baylor family medicine residency program.
• Manage complex cases in an open ICU setting with intensivist coverage during the day and on-call at night.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and daily huddles to discuss patient care and team dynamics.

Scheduling :

• Traditional seven on/seven off schedule with coverage support from team members during time off.
