CNC Production Team Lead (Shop Floor Operations)
- Direct the daily work of the team to keep operations flowing without bottlenecks.
- Onboard and coach new hires; champion continuous improvement across the cell.
- Track production and verify quality so output consistently meets company specifications.
- Coordinate schedules, allocate tasks, and balance workloads for optimal throughput.
- Run short stand-ups and regular team meetings to share goals, updates, and feedback.
- Uphold and model safety practices; ensure all procedures and regulations are followed.
- Partner with management on process improvements and execute agreed changes.
- Maintain accurate records for production metrics and individual performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education/certifications a plus.
- Hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing/production, preferably machining.
- Proven ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Calm, decisive problem-solver who performs well under pressure.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
- Comfortable with computers and common production software.
- Open to flexible schedules and overtime when needed.
