Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Willis, TX at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. The role requires completion of comprehensive evaluations, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, timely and accurate documentation, patient and family education, and collaboration with the care team. You will support safe patient handling practices and participate in performance improvement and student education as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy delivering 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to follow physician orders and work within insurance approval parameters.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior outpatient clinic experience with functional treatment program design.
• Experience with performance improvement initiatives and working within established competency programs.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
