Asset Supervisor
The Asset Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate asset tracking, inventory control, and system compliance across assigned areas. This role supports asset lifecycle management through coordination with IT, Operations, Purchasing, Marketing, and Corporate Services, while providing technical expertise, training, and audit support to field and area personnel.
- Ensure the asset tracking system is fully utilized to maintain accurate, real-time asset inventories.
- Collaborate with the Global Asset Manager to refine and implement asset management policies and procedures.
- Ensure all area assets are properly tagged and compliant with corporate asset management standards.
- Maintain and update asset records, including corrections to makes, models, serial numbers, and classifications.
- Conduct and monitor physical inventories at area yards, rig sites, and vendor locations.
- Monitor and report asset accuracy, utilization, and system compliance within assigned areas.
- Analyze inventory data to identify surplus or obsolete materials and assist in developing reduction strategies.
- Partner with IT to support system modifications, troubleshooting, and user technical support.
- Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for the myAssets system and inventory processes.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to NDIL Area staff and area users.
- Generate purchase requisitions (PRs) as requested by field personnel and track approvals and fulfillment.
- Coordinate with NDIL Areas, Houston Operations, Support teams, Corporate Services groups, and vendors to support asset management initiatives.
- Travel internationally as needed to support inventory audits, training, and field operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and business objectives.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and 5-10 years of related experience in asset and/or inventory control.
- Experience with asset management, inventory control, or materials management systems.
Technical & Computer Skills
- Proficiency with current versions of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use multiple computer software systems.
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical, written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, or operational documents.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems independently.
- Ability to research, compile, and prepare reports suitable for presentation to senior management within required timeframes.
Organizational & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to perform routine and complex tasks with minimal supervision.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally (~10%) for audits, training, and inventory activities.
- Ability to work outdoors at area yard or field locations in various weather conditions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with internal and external clients or customers.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced environments and adapting effectively to changing priorities and business needs.
- Knowledge of drilling rigs, oilfield equipment, and related field operations
