We arelooking fora Shop Mechanic to join our team!You will be responsible forrepairing various vehicles and transmission systems.
Responsibilities:
DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR ELECTRICAL FAULTS, TEST COMPONENTS
READ AND UNERSTAND PIN OUT PROCEDURES, CHECK RESISTANCE AND CONTINUITY
USE COMPUTER AUTOMOTIVE BASED PROGRAMS AND SOFTWARE
OWN BASIC HAND TOOLS, SPECIALTY TOOLS ARE PLUS
HAS COMPUTER LITERACY TO LOGIN TRACK, AND SWITCH IN BETWEEN JOBS
MULTITASKING CAPABILITIES
BASIC HYDAULIC SYSTEMS
TRAILER REPAIR EXPERIENCE
A/C REPAIR
LIGHT REPAIR
ABS REPAIR
CHASSIS COMPONENTS (BRAKES, AIR BAGS, SLACKS, TARPS, ETC)
CLUTCH ADJUSTMENTS AND TRANSMISSION EXPERIENCE
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Perform quality inspectionsprior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
- Previous experienceas a mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
