A/P Manager
Dallas, TX – 4 days onsite

One of Vaco’s PE-backed clinical clients is looking to bring onboard an A/P Manager or Sr. Manager-level person to help lead a midsized team and help professionalize their department. This is a high-volume, multi-entity environment working through systems change and automation projects. Leadership is extremely supportive and wants folks to come to the table with new ideas – high preference for previous Netsuite and/or Avid experience.

Compensation: $120-130K Bonus

Day to day

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, including setting clear goals, providing coaching, and managing performance.
• Oversee daily workload distribution to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment cycles.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with IT/Finance Systems to optimize AP workflows within ERP and related tools.
• Lead or support system upgrades, automation efforts, and policy updates.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls and audit readiness.
• Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendor escalations; resolve discrepancies and ensure positive vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to streamline processes and ensure proper coding, approvals, and compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
