Business Development Representative
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Approximately $60,000 base salary + incentive opportunities We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to lead outside sales and community outreach efforts for our senior living community. This is a true “boots-on-the-ground” role focused on building referral relationships, generating new business opportunities, and increasing community visibility throughout the market. The ideal candidate enjoys being out in the field, networking, attending events, and developing partnerships that drive occupancy growth. What You’ll Do
- Lead outside sales and business development efforts throughout the local healthcare and senior living market
- Conduct daily in-person outreach, including door-knocking, cold calling, and relationship-building with referral sources
- Build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, rehab facilities, physicians, case managers, home health agencies, and community organizations
- Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and community functions to promote the community and generate referrals
- Collaborate with leadership to support occupancy goals and growth initiatives
- Maintain consistent follow-up and track outreach activities and referral relationships
- Experience in outside sales, healthcare sales, senior living, admissions, marketing, or business development preferred
- CRM software experience preferred
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable spending the majority of the day in the field
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for meetings and events
