Job Title: Business Analyst (SDLC, UX Wireframes, Education Domain 8+ yrs)

Location: Austin TX - (Hybrid -remotely up to 80% of the time)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Experience eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements
• Experience with software development life cycles (SDLCs)
• Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement experience
• Experience developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices
• Experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
• Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills

• Documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements"
• Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
• Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
• Documented work experience with Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program

• Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements from stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are properly implemented
• Re-engineer business processes and improve software process flows
• Develop user stories and use cases according to business analysis best practices
• Design mockups or wireframes following UX principles to visualize system functionality
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Organize and manage documentation to ensure traceability and accuracy of requirements
