Structural Engineer, PE

Webuild Staffing () is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer, PE to lead structural building design activities for commercial, residential, and retail projects throughout Texas.

The ideal individual for this role would have a minimum of 7 years of structural engineering / project design experience; directing engineering projects from conceptual design through final construction documentation. Working closely with architects, contractors, and internal teams to design structures comprised of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry in compliance with timelines, budgets and client expectations.

The Structural Engineer will direct design activities for a portfolio of projects for the organization; providing project engineering guidance at every stage of development. This includes defining scopes of work, formulating budgets, establishing timelines, and actively engaging in hands-on engineering design. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior staff and directing their efforts in the design engineering of all structural engineering components, encompassing roof and floor framing, foundation plans, construction engineering details, and more, as necessary to compile a comprehensive engineering package.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Must possess a valid Texas Certificate of Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) or as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) progressing to PE registration within the next 6 months. Strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships is essential.
