The role

This is an on-site role based out of our Wynwood office in Miami, FL

As an Accountant at Majority you will take an active part in day-to-day and periodic finance tasks, performing tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and payroll. You'll be joining a finance team of 5 and will play a critical role in managing and strengthening the day-to-day accounting operations for our US entities.

Main tasks:

• Own accounts payable and accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and automation


• Manage payroll processing and related reconciliations


• Drive month-end close, including journal entries, reviews, and reconciliations


• Maintain general ledger integrity across all accounting areas


• Handle state and local tax filings and compliance requirements


• Support audits and annual reporting deliverables


• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent


• 1-3 years of relevant bookkeeping and accounting experience; Experience with accounts payable and payroll is a plus


• Strong understanding of US accounting fundamentals and close processes


• Attention to detail, thoroughness and high level of accountability


• Excel proficiency & Tech interest


• Strong English both oral and written


• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Fortnox or similar accounting systems is a plus
