Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure high performance and compliance with care standards.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and training of nursing personnel.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality resident care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Ensure optimal patient care outcomes through evidence-based practices.
- Address and resolve patient or family concerns promptly and compassionately.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.
- Participate in facility leadership meetings and contribute to overall operational goals.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, staff, residents, and families.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification in the state of Georgetown
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
