Strategic Pricing Analyst

The Strategic Pricing Analyst plays a key role in defining Hilti North America’s pricing strategy to maintain its premium market position while maximizing profitability and market penetration. This role involves leading market research, analyzing pricing data, and developing impact models to guide strategic decisions. By partnering with business units and ensuring accurate pricing in SAP, the analyst helps deliver sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
What You'll do
- Partner with various Business Unit and Trade Managers in development of current and new product price structures ensuring both market penetration and business profitability.
- Perform proactive data mining, analysis, and identification of price improvement opportunities to include sales and margin, customers, suppliers, and overrides.
- Develop and prepare impact analysis models of price change and strategy decisions for internal customers to ensure margins meet business objectives and strategies.
- Prepare and publish HNA Trade Templates.
- Develop and administer the process for entering and maintaining all product pricing in SAP.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related area required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Five or more years of relevant business experience including at least two years in financial analysis
- Must have a detailed understanding of Hilti business processes
- Excellent personal interaction skills
- Must possess ability to interact and present findings to senior level management
- Requires strong data mining background; experience utilizing BI and SAP queries for large data sets a plus
- Strong data analysis and modeling skills
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
