About Houston

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play on our team

ExxonMobil is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead our graphic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves overseeing the creation of visual content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand standards, and driving innovative design solutions.

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to the development of creative concepts and visual strategies as well as design and production of graphic art and visual materials for print and digital media, including advertisements, brochures, web graphics, and multimedia elements.
• Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality output.
• Ensure all designs align with ExxonMobil's brand standards and production best practices.
• Review and approve designs, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards and client expectations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques to enhance visual communication.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the energy or industrial sector.
• Knowledge of web design and multimedia production.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
