CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Defectives Screening Operator. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.

Role and Responsibilities

• Operates machines to test functioning of components and parts
• Performs disassembly and assembly of components and parts in test fixtures for full functional testing using hand or power tools
• Performs visual mechanical inspection for cosmetic defects and reports findings
• Tests components or circuits of faulty equipment to locate defects, using special diagnostic software programs
• Learns and uses new processes and procedures
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May return unit back to the technician for repair if unit fails test
• May forward units on to quality group for quality inspection, if unit passes test
• May perform other tasks as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of experience with test and software installation and configuration, preferred
• Basic knowledge of computer software
• Basic familiarity with computer use required
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
• Intermediate English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
• Use of small hand tools
