Responsibilities:Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a dedicated HR Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This critical role focuses on conducting thorough investigations and ensuring a fair and respectful workplace for all team members. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and tact.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for resolution.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate and mediate conflict resolution between employees and/or management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist in developing and implementing employee relations strategies to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work up to 29 hours weekly.
- Preferred of 1 year of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective and impartial investigations.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Willingness to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.
