TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tomball, Texas, 77375!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM Must-Have: Strong independent Labor and Delivery skills. Proficiency in cervical checks, OR circulator duties, IV starts, and medication management including oxytocin and magnesium. Description: The unit comprises 11 beds with a staff of 34. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1 surgical tech, 4 RNs, and 1 ultrasound tech. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1 surgical tech, and 4 RNs. Patient ratios are per AWHONN standards. Standard equipment includes GE Labor and Delivery fetal monitoring systems, wireless monitoring (NOVII), and Baxter IV pumps. EMR systems used are Meditech Expanse and GE CPN Connect. Labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and pre-op/PACU procedures are commonly performed. Candidates with device placement skills (IUPC, FSE) and newborn transition experience will be preferred. The ideal candidate will possess an open and friendly demeanor. They should be able to manage independently while fostering a team spirit. Rotating weekends are required, but on-call duty is not necessary. About Cynet Health
