Full Stack Engineer

Careerscape has partnered with a rapidly scaling technology company headquartered in Austin, TX to find a talented Remote Full Stack Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer who loves building robust, scalable web applications from the ground up. Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable full stack web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and seamlessly integrate third-party platforms and data sources
• Deliver clean, thoroughly tested, and well-documented code that adheres to engineering best practices
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship impactful features on time
• Take part in code reviews, sprint planning, and system architecture discussions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across frontend and backend systems
• Respond quickly to production issues, diagnosing and deploying fixes with minimal disruption
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in React.js and Node.js
• Proven track record building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid grasp of relational and non-relational databases — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Comfortable working within Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and agile teams
• Sharp analytical mindset with a commitment to writing maintainable code
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent real-world experience
• Familiarity with TypeScript or GraphQL is a strong advantage
