Future High School Teacher (9th-12th) (2026/27)
School:Pecos High School
Campus Description:Pecos High School is part of the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District, nestled in the heart of Pecos, Texas — a vibrant community situated in the Permian Basin and the Trans-Pecos Chihuahua Desert, between El Paso and Midland. Led by Principal Chantel Hluchan, PHS serves over 800 students in grades 9th through 12th and is in the midst of one of the most exciting chapters in its history. The campus is undergoing a transformational expansion of state-of-the-art facilities designed by VLK Architects and built by BTC. The new CTE facility opened in July 2024, a new athletic field house opens this March, and a brand-new three-story academic building along with new athletic facilities, a gymnasium, and a natatorium are all set to open in July 2026. Construction on a new fine arts facility is already underway. Teachers who join PHS now will be among the first to teach in some of the finest educational spaces in West Texas — built for the next generation of Eagle excellence.
