RN Day Surgery Seasonal

Shift: FT Days Seasonal 13 week contract 5/8 hr. shifts per week M-F 7:45-3:15 Requirement: Min. of 2yrs of RN experience. Prior Day Surgery/Pre-Op, PACU or Procedural experience required Day Surgery Unit Our Day Surgery unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity ? patients. General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, Gynecology, ENT, Oncology, Pain management, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology patients. PreOp and Phase II Patient Ratios: PreOp 1:1; Phase II: Ranges from 1:2 - 1:3-5; per ASPAN (American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses guidelines. Number of Beds: 18 Department Specifics: Team nursing approach to pre-operative patients, ability to cross train in PACU and GI lab, and collaborative team. • A degree from a recognized nursing program
• Min. of 2yrs of RN experience. Prior Day Surgery/Pre-Op, PACU or Procedural experience required 
• A valid Registered Nurse license
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
