Hybrid SNF Business Office Manager

Now looking for an experienced SNF Business Office Manager (BOM) for a hybrid position to assist BOMs in two sister facilities: Richland Hills Rehab and Healthcare and Westpark Rehab and Living. The position does have the flexibility of being hybrid, which can include remote work.

The BOM role allows for many opportunities to learn broadly about operations in a post-acute care facility, and that create a lot of space for making an impact. Responsibilities:
- Manages the facility's accounting functions, as well as educating and advising the other departments on Medicare/Medicaid eligibility and insurance requirements.
- Negotiates terms for provider agreements.
- Prepares claims for skilled nursing services and engages in efforts to collect outstanding accounts receivables.
- Manages resident trust funds.
- Maintains all necessary internal controls and recordkeeping related to accounting functions.
- Assist in running the daily operations meetings.
Education/Experience/Training:
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in business or related field strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare financial administration.
- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor at all times and maintain strict safeguards and confidentiality of all relevant information.
