Warehouse Worker

MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF RECENT WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to fill an opening at a manufacturing and distribution facility in Houston, TX .

Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00pm, with OT as required

Requirements for Warehouse Worker:

• Minimum 3 years of recent warehouse experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform rapid physical work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Steel toe shoes required – other PPE provided on site.
• Prior experience in roles such as Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Order Picker, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Inventory Associate, or Forklift Operator is a big plus!
• Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred (certification a plus, not required).

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Worker:

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
• Receive incoming shipments and verify items against packing lists
• Stock, organize, and rotate inventory (FIFO as required)
• Manually lift and move boxes, hardware, and materials up to 50 lbs.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment as assigned
• Use RF scanners or basic computer systems to track inventory and orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
