Transportation Dispatcher needed for a Lumber Yard in Fort Worth Location: Fort Worth, TX Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Transportation Dispatcher to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of transportation logistics. Key Responsibilities: Schedule, dispatch, and monitor drivers to ensure on-time deliveries Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer information Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to address issues or changes Monitor transportation routes and resolve any service delays or disruptions Update transportation management systems with real-time delivery and dispatch data Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order fulfillment and logistics
