In this role, you will load raw materials into pre-set machines, run production cycles, unload finished parts, and perform basic quality checks using blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. You’ll keep your workstation clean, monitor coolant levels, and follow daily directions from senior machinists to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Load raw materials, run pre-programmed machine cycles, unload finished parts, and inspect work against basic blueprints using calipers or micrometers. Clear metal chips, monitor fluid levels, maintain a clean workstation, and follow instructions from shop leads while adhering to safety protocols. Demonstrate reliability and attention to detail, with opportunities to train on CNC setup and G-code programming over time.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 8 hours at one time
