Hiring ASAP - Forklift Operator

Job Description

• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Operate controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Use levers and controls to operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and hoists, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, securing materials or products for transport to designated areas.

Essential Skills

• Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques for effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift operators’ license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Steel toe boots required.

Shift

2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with overtime expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.82 - $19.82/hr.
