CNC Precision Machining Specialist
A day in this role
In Paris, TX, you’ll turn complex prints into precision parts. You’ll arrive to a clean, safety-first shop, load programs, set tooling, verify offsets, and run first-article checks. Throughout the shift, you’ll watch machine performance, fine-tune feeds and speeds, and document quality results with precision instruments. You’ll keep equipment running smoothly with routine upkeep and pitch in with your team to streamline processes before leaving the area spotless.
Role impact
As a CNC Precision Machining Specialist, you are central to our local company’s production flow—converting designs into accurate components that meet strict specifications and delivery timelines.
Core responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to plan setups and verify outputs.
- Monitor operations; adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters for optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment issues.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with teammates to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with company policies.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist (or closely related role).
- Confidence reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Familiarity with common machining tools and shop equipment.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
