Production Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Production Technician for a company in Sherman, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm that works with companies in Texoma that have full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed production and packaging equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance using basic hand and power tools

• Identify and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime

  Pay & Schedule

  • Annualized Pay Range: Approximately $45,600 – $52,000+ per year , based on a $21.94 hourly rate, full-time schedule, and potential overtime

  • Overtime opportunities available as business needs require

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift

  • **PAY RATE WILL INCREASE AFTER EVALUATION HIRE **

• Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of production or manufacturing experience

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Stable work history and strong attendance record

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, inclusive environment

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and job-related skills assessment

  • Employment is contingent upon completion of a lawful, job-related background screening , consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience operating and maintaining automated equipment

    • Familiarity with computer systems and product distribution systems

    • Strong technical aptitude, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills

    • Experience with liquid processing and/or packaging operations

      Physical & Work Environment Requirements

      • Use basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers for equipment maintenance and replacement

      • Lift and move objects weighing up to 60 pounds

      • Work both indoors and outdoors in seasonal temperature and humidity conditions

      • Operate a computer keyboard to input and access data

      • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, respiratory protection, and safety shoes

      • Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and wear sanitary protective clothing such as coveralls, hairnets, and beard covers
