Oria is a new, chef-driven Mediterranean restaurant opening soon in Austin, inspired by the coastal flavors of Greece, Southern Italy, and the Levant. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the host team plays a critical role in setting the tone for the entire dining experience.
We re seeking professional, polished hosts who are warm, organized, and hospitality-driven, and who understand the importance of flow, communication, and guest connection in an elevated restaurant environment.
What You ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
- Managing reservations, waitlists, and table flow to ensure smooth service
- Communicating clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
- Maintaining an organized and accurate floor plan
- Assisting with guest inquiries, special requests, and overall guest experience
- Supporting opening and closing procedures at the host stand
Who We re Looking For
- Previous hosting or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a polished guest-facing presence
- Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
