Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime based on company needs).
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire.

Position Overview:

Openwork is seeking an experienced Maintenance Multi-Craft Mechanic to support a fast-paced industrial operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and automated equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, lubrication, testing, and adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair machinery such as welders, slitters, presses, conveyors, hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect motors, belts, drives, and fluid systems; replace filters and components as needed.
• Set up and operate plant equipment to support maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures.
• Coordinate parts and supplies needed for repairs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

• 5-7 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred).
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
