Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector
Merit Professional Services is looking to hire an Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector to service our North Texas clients.
About the Job:Our Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector enjoys flexible hours and a dynamic work environment. As an Industrial Environmental Compliance Inspector, you will be assigned 55-60 industrial sites that require quarterly and annual inspections. While on-site, you will inspect for potential stormwater pollution and verify that all onsite records are properly maintained. You will communicate directly with the site manager on what actions they need to take in order to maintain compliance with local, TCEQ, and EPA regulations. Requirements:
- An environmental degree or experience in Stormwater Inspecting/Consulting is preferred but not required.
- Construction experience is helpful but not required.
- You must be comfortable driving several hours each day.
- Highly organized, self-starter individual.
- You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with each project's onsite client representative.
- Computer literacy, fast typing, and the ability to navigate and use the Microsoft Office Suite are required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- This is not a remote position!

- $35,000 - $40,000/annually.
Merit Professional Services is a Environmental Consulting company located in Flower Mound, TX. We design and implement stormwater compliance programs for construction and industrial projects. We were founded in 2008 by Clint Vinson and Josh Phillips. Today, we design over 30 new stormwater pollution prevention plans each month, and conduct over 550 compliance inspections each week. As a team we constantly strive to service our customers excellently, treat each other with honesty and fairness, explore our internal issues and design their solutions, and innovate our approach so that we can give our customers the best stormwater program in the industry.
