Chevron is seeking experienced field representatives with a demonstrated ability to safely execute complex unconventional drilling operations, including horizontal wells exceeding 10,000 feet in lateral length. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and high-performance drilling operations across Chevron's U.S. unconventional business, including operations in the Permian Basin, DJ Basin, Bakken, among others. • Provide leadership and direction to rig contractors and service providers to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual obligations and Chevron requirements.
  • Manage all drilling operations and wellsite logistics to ensure reliable and efficient execution of the drilling program.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through the communication of performance expectations, benchmarking, operational metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and active participation in safety processes.
  • Actively share lessons learned, best practices, and operational insights across drilling teams and business units.
  • Utilize digital technologies and performance tools including WellView®, Corva®, Polarion®, and other Chevron-approved applications to monitor and optimize drilling performance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is highly desirable to support field operations and contractor engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, completions, subsurface, HSE, logistics, and facility personnel.
  • Ensure WellSafe requirements are always met to maintain well control, well integrity, and barrier assurance, including management of well control events when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement through operational reviews, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of oil and gas drilling experience, including demonstrated experience supervising unconventional drilling operations.
