Position Summary : The Project Security Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all contract-specific security requirements, including personnel access, facility security, and coordination with Government security officials.
This role supports a potential contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage personnel security, access control, and badging
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Serve as liaison with Government security representatives
- Conduct security briefings and training
- Manage incident reporting and corrective actions
- Maintain security documentation and records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security, law enforcement, or facilities operations
- 5+ years of security management experience, preferably in government or secure environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility access credentials
- Knowledge of access control systems and security protocol
- Strong organizational and communication skills
