JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic and personable Front Office Attendant to join our boutique hotel team. As a Front Office Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high standards of service and quality throughout the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Service:
  • Address all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with reservations, including room bookings, restaurant reservations, and transportation arrangements.
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, coordinating with the Virtual Operations and all property level team to ensure
  • Ensure all guest requests and preferences are noted and accommodated when possible.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Coordinate with virtual operations, housekeeping, and engineering to confirm room readiness and handle special requests.
  • Assist with managing the daily operations of the hotel as needed per guest and hotel management needs
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the front office and throughout the hotel to ensure cleanliness and orderliness. Assist with performing and/or coordinating necessary tasks throughout the hotel.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews, reporting any issues to management and suggesting improvements.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Safety and Security:
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property by adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control access to the building, reporting any suspicious activity to security or management.
  • Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and providing support to guests and staff.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including guest reservations details, billing information, and transaction logs.
  • Monitor and update room availability and rates in the hotel management system.
  • Handle guest transactions and reconcile all necessary guest billing as needed at the end of every shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or related fields preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
